At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light, more warmth, more clarity, and more connection. Our home infusion nurses bring care directly to patients, delivering complex therapies with skill, independence, and compassion.
We're looking for Contract (1099) Home Infusion Nurses who want their work to mean something, skilled Registered Nurses who value flexibility, autonomy, and purposeful patient care.
Why This Role Matters
Home infusion requires trust, clinical judgment, and empathy. As a Contract Home Infusion Nurse, you are often the primary clinical presence for patients receiving therapy outside traditional care settings.
In this role, you'll contribute to work that:
  • Helps patients safely receive infusion therapies in the comfort of their homes
  • Supports continuity of care through expert assessment, monitoring, and education
  • Builds confidence for patients and caregivers navigating complex treatments
  • Advances a patient-first, clinician-led approach to specialty infusion care

Your work allows patients to focus on healing, knowing their care is handled with precision and compassion.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
  • Administer, monitor, and discontinue intravenous therapies in patient homes or infusion suite settings
  • Insert and manage IV access, including peripheral lines, PICCs, ports, and midlines
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples as ordered
  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, and reviews of systems
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring
  • Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion when applicable
  • Coordinate visit schedules and communicate visit outcomes with clinical and operations teams
  • Accurately document all patient care, medications administered, and patient responses
  • Communicate concerns promptly to physicians and internal clinical leadership
  • Uphold confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in accordance with all state and federal regulations
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort practicing independently
  • Calm, empathetic communication with patients and caregivers
  • Flexibility and professionalism in a contracted, visit-based role
  • Confidence in delivering IV therapy outside acute care environments
  • Pride in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice
  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
  • IV certification and experience with central line care and management
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities
  • Experience with patient documentation and care coordination
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • RN licensure in additional states
  • Prior experience in home infusion, critical care, emergency nursing, ambulatory infusion centers, or hospital discharge planning
  • PICC, port, and midline experience and certification

You don't need to check every box; we care just as much about how you care for patients as we do about where you've worked before.
Why LUX Infusion
At LUX Infusion, we believe care deserves more light, more warmth, more clarity, and more connection.
As a contract nurse, you'll find:
  • Purpose-driven clinical work with immediate patient impact
  • Flexible, visit-based scheduling
  • Autonomy, while supported by strong clinical and operational teams
  • Clear standards, documentation expectations, and support
