How Youโ€™ll Succeed

1. Food Preparation & Food Handling

โ€ข Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals

โ€ข Follow residents' diets and food preferences

โ€ข Take the menu orders from the residents

โ€ข Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitized

โ€ข Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques

Who You Are

โ€ข Have a valid Safe Food Handlerโ€™s Certificate or willing to obtain

โ€ข You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullestย 

โ€ข You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff

โ€ข You may bring experienceย  in food serviceย  from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality

โ€ข While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, itโ€™s not a requirement

โ€ข All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicable to Ontario applicants.
