Job description

Infuse Hospitality is hiring a Mixologist / Barista Floater to support a variety of client locations throughout the Chicagoland area. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys flexibility, variety, and delivering consistently excellent guest experiences in different environments.

As a Floater, you will provide coverage at cafés, bars, hospitality venues, and events as scheduling needs arise. The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and confident stepping into new spaces while upholding Infuse Hospitality’s high standards of service.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and handcrafted cocktails

• Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging guest service at each assigned location

• Provide staffing support across multiple client sites, including short-term assignments and special events

• Set up, maintain, and break down clean and organized coffee and bar stations

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and standards

• Operate POS systems and handle cash and card transactions accurately (as applicable)

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Infuse Hospitality

• Adapt quickly to different teams, menus, and service environments


Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or mixologist (experience in both is strongly preferred)

• Comfortable working in different locations and adapting to new environments

• Working knowledge of espresso equipment and classic cocktail preparation

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Chicagoland area

• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
