Position Overview

Valitana is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day operations and internal IT needs while developing foundational skills in cloud and platform engineering. The individual in this role will help ensure operational stability and will enable senior engineers to focus on scalable platform improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Support new hire onboarding (device setup, access provisioning, Intune configuration)
  • Handle IT and infrastructure support requests from internal teams
  • Monitor systems, alerts, and basic health checks
  • Assist with security patching and vulnerability tracking/remediation
  • Support AWS operational tasks under guidance (resource reviews, basic automation)
  • Maintain and improve documentation and runbooks
  • Track and manage work via Jira and internal systems

  • Timely and reliable handling of onboarding and support requests
  • Improved visibility and tracking of operational work
  • Reduced backlog of security and maintenance tasks

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

  • Base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000.
  • Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus.
