Job Description
Technology Services Group Inc. seeks SVP, Production Services Infrastructure Support in Jersey City, NJ, to design, implement, integrate, and provide full support for complex software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment. Maintain and support moderately complex infrastructure environments. Perform complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert. Work to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup. Lead root cause analysis and problem management for complex problems to address underlying technical issues. Collaborate with business and application development stakeholders. Coordinate production readiness reviews for new releases and validate the supportability of changes prior to introduction into production, Perform production readiness reviews and PTO controls for new releases and projects. Analyze system requirements. Review and evaluate plans for major projects and initiatives to ensure they meet system needs. Coordinate the monitoring of major changes to infrastructure environment. Analyze the most complex issues that arise. Collaborate with infrastructure engineering, quality assurance, app support for capacity monitoring & instrumentation. Perform complex incident, problem management and troubleshooting. Maintain business and operation relationships to ensure business needs are addressed. Interface with other technology groups including Application Development and Support. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT network occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting corporate wireless infrastructure and using comprehensive understanding of the enterprise network infrastructure to oversee the entire wireless traffic flow; Implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting remote access technology across multiple vendor platform to support various types of end user equipment and identify varieties of user access issues; Performing configuration and policy structure of the corporate web proxy and cloud-based proxy, and managing URL filtering, content filtering, and web access controls, and troubleshooting complicated web access issues; Understanding local and global load balancing technology and applying to business use cases, and providing network efficiency and resiliency by using variations of technique to fully maximize the load balancer functions; Administering the global Domain Name System and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol using IP address management tool; and Handling routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, and troubleshooting complicated routing issues. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $214,250.00 - $221,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
