Job description

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to lead MidFirst Bank's Infrastructure Services datacenter administration team and support related business functions. This role oversees the delivery of reliable, effective technology solutions that support daily bank operations and advance strategic objectives. The person in this position will partner with teams across the organization, promote adherence to MidFirst's Change Management practices, and help drive continuity, efficiency, and long-range planning for infrastructure operations. This position is a full-time, in-office role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Team leadership and management of MidFirst's Infrastructure Services administration staff and supporting business functions.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies that support departmental operations across the company.
  • Promote adherence to MidFirst's Change Management practices.
  • Manage technology life cycles, including planned upgrades and replacements.
  • Serve as the after-hours Infrastructure Operations escalation supervisor.
  • Deliver technology solutions that support daily bank operations and strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with departments across the company to understand and address business needs.
  • Monitor technology trends and recommend investments that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and align with company goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and train skilled technology staff in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Maintain vendor and third-party relationships, keep contracts current, regularly review cost maintenance strategies, and budget maintenance.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute disaster recovery and contingency plans to support business continuity.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 10+ years' experience related specifically to System/Network Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams responsible for LAN/WAN operations, technical services, and software deployment.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN and multi-platform environments, including Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025, VMware 8.x or later, Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and enterprise storage and backup systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading virtualization migration/upgrade projects is preferred.
  • Banking industry experience is preferred but not required.
