Title: Technical Program Manager - Infrastructure Location: Remote Ekman Associates, Inc. is a Southern California based company focused on the following services: Management Consulting, Professional Staffing Solutions, Executive Recruiting and Managed Services. Summary: We are seeking highly talented and motivated senior Technical Program Managers (TPMs) with IT Infrastructure (data center deployments, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms) space. The TPM must be able to navigate loosely defined problems and turn them into well-structured programs while being cross-functional relationship builders. This includes: ability to see the big picture, finding connections where none exist, quickly building rapport across multidisciplinary teams, identifying and executing on a common goal to support and aim to increase efficiency and reliability of various Corporate data centers and facilities. Key Experience: Knowledge of Data Centers, Network systems, Public Cloud and/or IT infrastructure Experience with data center architecture and deployments Experience with Network protocols and devices Experience with distributed computing Responsibilities: Build detailed plan for the technical programs in IT infrastructure that involve deployments in data center, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms. Engage with stakeholders to capture project requirements, complete infrastructure design, and define project scope. Drive cross functional execution of program deliverables and migrations. Identify opportunities for optimizing our tech and processes. Ensure projects are on time, within the scope and ensure develop communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Drive multiple projects and work with technical teams to resolve technical issues / risks. Continuously Identify, track and monitor program risks to ensure program execute as per the communicated plan. Qualifications: B.S in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or technical product/program management experience. Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope. Clear communication. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones. Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
