Job Title: IT Infrastructure Program Manager
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
 
Summary:
 
We're building a team of passionate Technical Program Managers for Office Infrastructure projects to bridge the gap between Real Estate and Workplace Services, Corporate IT, and other teams to design and deliver technical solutions for new office buildout and expansion projects. This includes all low voltage, network infrastructure, audio visual and related IT scopes of work.. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of Office Infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and oversee project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules for all phases from design through handover.
  • Coordinate the design, bidding, implementation, commissioning, and handover processes for low voltage cabling and network infrastructure.
  • Manage the audio-visual/video-conference system implementations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with Corporate Security to integrate supporting infrastructure for access control and surveillance systems effectively.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation including drawing packages, specifications, and status updates for executive communications.
  • Identify potential project risks early on; develop mitigation strategies while monitoring delivery progress closely.
  • Oversee procurement activities related to project needs; guide FP&A team regarding budget considerations specific to each initiative.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural design processes throughout various stages of development within commercial real estate construction projects.
  • Maintain effective vendor management practices encompassing vetting procedures, RFPs/bid responses evaluation as well as performance assessments post-handover.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally between internal teams, construction and related trades and other vendors or service providers
  • Manage the design, bid, implementation, commissioning and handover process for ISP connectivity, low voltage cabling and network infrastructure
  • Manage the design, bid, implementation, commissioning and handover process for audio-visual/video-conference systems
  • Partner with the Corporate Security team to implement supporting infrastructure and network integration for access control and surveillance systems
  • Manage project schedules, status updates and executive communications for all relevant projects
  • Develop drawing packages and specifications in support of project design and execution
  • Coordinate procurement and provide guidance to FP&A on budget
  • Identify, mitigate and monitor project delivery risks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project and program management capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of the architectural design process (schematic design, design development, construction documents)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate construction processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vendor management experience (Vendor vetting, RFP and bid response, performance management, handover)
  • Understanding of mechanical power, cooling systems and capacity planning
  • Ability to read construction and engineering plan drawings
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
