Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager - AI Programs to lead the planning, execution, and governance of enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation initiatives. This role will oversee complex, cross-functional programs involving business stakeholders, product teams, AI engineers, architects, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of strategic AI solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise program management, Project Management Office (PMO) governance, digital transformation, and AI-enabled initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes from strategy through production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI transformation programs across multiple business units.
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource strategies.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of AI initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate multiple interdependent projects and manage program-level dependencies.
Project & PMO Management
  • Oversee program governance, risk management, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards, KPIs, status reports, and executive presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, project methodologies, and organizational governance processes.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, scope, and resource allocation to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and executive decision-making sessions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with business leaders, Product Owners, AI architects, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, security, and operations.
  • Coordinate infrastructure readiness, environment provisioning, API approvals, deployment schedules, and production releases.
  • Manage communication across technical and business teams to ensure alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
AI Transformation Delivery
  • Support the execution of enterprise AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives.
  • Ensure AI programs align with business strategy, operational goals, and customer value.
  • Monitor program performance using business and technical KPIs.
  • Drive organizational change management, user adoption, and communication strategies for AI initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency across AI programs.
Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify program risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize delivery risks.
  • Ensure quality standards, compliance requirements, and security considerations are incorporated throughout program execution.
  • Promote continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and governance practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or PMO leadership.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise technology transformation programs.
  • Experience leading Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Technology initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO governance, portfolio management, and program delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across business and technology organizations.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and risk management.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
