Job description

Product Lead, AI Platformย

Are you a technical powerhouse who also loves building and mentoring high-performing teams? At 6sense, we are architecting the definitive intelligence layer for B2B-the reasoning engine that powers the world's most sophisticated revenue organizations-and that transformation requires a foundational infrastructure where AI-driven reasoning powers every workflow. We are looking for aย Productย Leadย to own ourย AI OS: the underlying operating system and orchestration engine that enables every product team at 6sense to build secure, reliable, and highly intelligent agentic experiences.ย

This is aย Player/Coachย role. You will be hands-on leading our core AI infrastructure while simultaneously serving as theย people managerย and program leader for a specialized pod of Product Managers. Youย aren'tย just managing a backlog; you are defining the architectural standards for how 6sense builds and ships AI at scale.ย

Why 6sense?ย

  • AI That Builds Pipe, Not Hype:ย Our Revenue AIย identifiesย accounts ready to buy, crafts the right message, and qualifies meetings automatically. Weย don'tย just surface data-we deliver intelligence and action.ย
  • Crack the Dark Funnel:ย Less than 3% of buyers engage early. We uncover hidden buying signals, decode the "breadcrumb trails," and help revenue teams connect with buyers in ways they never could before.ย
  • Orchestrate the Full Journey:ย From dynamic audience creation to multi-channel engagement, we empower marketers to reach the right accounts, at the right time, with the right message-across advertising, email, web, and sales.ย
  • Arm Operations Teams:ย Integrate insights, centralize audience creation, and maximize impact by connecting 6sense with your tech stack.ย We'reย the single canvas for your entire GTM strategy.ย

Your Impactย

As Product Lead, AI Platform, you will:ย

  • Lead and Scale a High-Performing Pod.ย Act as a formal people manager, responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a specialized team of PMs. You will define theย pod'sย operating model, ensuring clear boundaries between platform infrastructure and agentic capabilities.ย
  • Own the AI Orchestration Layer.ย Personally drive the design and evolution of our core orchestration engine, ensuring robust state management, tenant routing, and high-performance runtime for intelligent workflows.ย
  • Modernize the Developer Experience.ย Design andย maintainย the internal SDKs andย capability registration patternsย that allow other teams to build, register, and call intelligence tools within the AI OS.ย
  • Define Evaluation and Trust Standards.ย Build the frameworks, guardrails, and security protocols that ensure our AI outputsย remainย accurate,ย evidenced, and enterprise-grade across the entire platform.ย
  • Lead Foundational Model Strategy.ย Drive our model strategy, including routing logic, cost optimization, and compute infrastructure management to maximize both performance and efficiency.ย
  • Be a Strategic Partnerย toย Leadership.ย Act as a force multiplier for theย Headย of Intelligence Product-surfacing technical risks early, driving clarity in platform architecture, and turning AI strategy into operating reality.ย

Strategic Themes You'll Driveย

  • The Infrastructure of Reasoning.ย Shift the organization from hard-coded logic to a dynamic orchestration model, providing the "plumbing" that makes multi-step agentic tasks possible.ย
  • Contract-First Platform Development.ย Define the technical contracts that allow teams to consume AI capabilities in a self-serve, standardized manner.ย
  • Platform Efficiency & Scalability.ย Ensure the AI OS is built for enterprise scale, managing the balance between rapid innovation and the rigorous demands of global B2B environments.ย

What You'll Bringย

  • Peopleย Leadership.ย Proven experience building and leading product teams. You know how to mentor senior PMs, manage performance, and create environments where technical builders thrive.ย
  • Technical Mastery.ย Deep, hands-onย expertiseย with the modern AI stack. You've personally architected orchestration layers, developer platforms, or complex distributed systemsย at scale-not just sponsored the work.ย
  • Operating Rigor.ย You build operating rhythms that scale, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and turn messy cross-team dependencies into clean execution.ย
  • Systems Thinking.ย You see theย whole system-strategy, org, data, and execution-and know which lever to pull when something is stuck.ย
  • Experience.ย 8-10+ years in Product Management, with a focus on AI, Platform, or Infrastructure, including 3-5+ years ofย formal peopleย management experience in a high-growth environment.ย

Whyย You'llย Love This Roleย

  • Impact:ย You are architecting theย Foundational AI Operating Systemย of 6sense-the underlying infrastructure that every other agentic workflow across the company relies on to function.ย
  • Innovation:ย You get to define the technical standards for agent orchestration and model routing at enterprise scale, solving infrastructure challenges most companiesย haven'tย evenย encounteredย yet.ย
  • Growth:ย Join a rocket ship, learn every day, and accelerate your career in a collaborative, high-energy environment.ย
  • Fun:ย We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Expect GIFs, puns, and the occasional ABM meme.ย

Base Salary Range: $197,997.50 - $260,863.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position.
