Job SummaryThe Product Manager is responsible for driving revenue and profit generation of the stormwater storage product category. In addition, the Product Manager will make strategic product decisions that produce long-term growth across market segments, channels and geographies using qualitative and quantitative data. They understand and monitor industry trends, map consumer needs, assess company's product performance to develop uniquely differentiated product offerings and solutions that are vertically and horizontally integrated with broader CRH business units while collaborating with product development teams.
This includes managing products through the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product, customer, and market requirements, defining the product vision and multi-year roadmap, and working closely with the commercial and operational functions to optimize product-market fit and minimize production costs. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager leads the product development stage gate process for new product development projects, product line extensions and product improvements, ensuring that the product offering supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams for product launches and company readiness activities including messaging/positioning, internal and external training, and other go-to-market activities.
Job Location
  • This position will remote based near one of our facilities in the United States.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business and functional leaders to understand overall business objectives and lead processes to gain alignment on an appropriate product strategy to meet Stormwater growth targets.
  • Review product line performance and market analytics and communicate market share targets, sales objectives and portfolio recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Gather business intelligence on customers, competitors, market trends and regulatory trends to develop positioning, pricing and growth strategies for the product category.
  • Develop and manage the product line roadmap, establishing the value proposition for products and solutions across the stormwater market.
  • Coordinate product marketing activities including product brochures, collateral, webinars, podcasts and trade shows.
  • Manage product development across the stage gate process including new product development projects and product improvement projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers and manufacturing plants, visit the customers when necessary to assist in and or pursue opportunities and/or problem-solving strategies and develop training modules for internal teams and customers.

Job Requirements

  • High initiative and results driven; an entrepreneurial self-starter who operates with speed, simplicity, and passion to succeed.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (civil engineering, chemical engineering, etc.); advanced degree preferred (MS, MBA, etc.).
  • 5+ years professional experience, with 3+ years in product management, product development, and/or product marketing.
  • Experience with precast concrete or plastic stormwater storage products preferred.
  • Travel is expected to be ~25%

Compensation
  • Yearly target salary is $130,000.00 to $140,000.00
