Lead customer-focused infrastructure solution definition across AI, compute, storage, and networking deployments. Member of the CTO Architecture team, with ownership of customer technical engagement, pre-RFP infrastructure definition, and solution architecture development.

This role operates as the primary technical interface between customer infrastructure requirements and Hyve's architecture and engineering organizations. The Solutions Architect will work directly with hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI-native companies, and enterprise customers to define infrastructure solutions spanning compute, AI acceleration, storage, networking, rack integration, power, and cooling.

The role focuses on early customer engagement, solution shaping, architectural definition, and strategic technical alignment ahead of formal productization and sales execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead customer-facing infrastructure solution engagements across AI, compute, storage, and networking deployments
  • Translate customer business, workload, and infrastructure requirements into deployable technical solutions
  • Define end-to-end infrastructure architectures spanning:
    • server platforms
    • accelerators
    • networking
    • storage
    • rack integration
    • power
    • cooling
    • deployment topology
  • Partner with customers on roadmap alignment, infrastructure planning, and future datacenter architectures
  • Develop technical proposals, architecture presentations, solution specifications, and customer design recommendations
  • Collaborate with CTO Architecture, platform architects, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align solutions with execution capability
  • Support strategic customer engagements ahead of formal RFP activity
  • Drive technical discovery sessions and architectural workshops with customers and ecosystem partners
  • Interface with silicon vendors and ecosystem providers to align customer solutions with emerging technologies and reference architectures
  • Support solution costing, configuration definition, deployment modeling, and infrastructure scaling recommendations
  • Represent Hyve in customer technical reviews, architecture discussions, and strategic infrastructure planning engagements
Qualifications
  • 10-15+ years in solutions architecture, hyperscale infrastructure, AI infrastructure, datacenter architecture, or technical customer engagement roles
  • Strong understanding of:
    • AI infrastructure
    • server architectures
    • GPU systems
    • networking
    • storage
    • rack integration
    • power and cooling infrastructure
  • Experience engaging directly with hyperscaler, cloud, enterprise, or AI-native customers
  • Strong ability to translate workload and business requirements into technical infrastructure architectures

  • Ability to operate across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and customer organizations
  • Experience developing technical proposals and customer-facing solution documentation
