Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for the civil engineering and acquisition support services to the U.S. Air Force's 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The Construction Inspector will support the engineering and construction projects by reviewing and inspecting work to ensure compliance with technical requirements, standards, and project specifications. This role involves evaluating construction activities and deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to established engineering and regulatory guidelines.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform inspections of construction activities to ensure work complies with technical requirements, specifications, and standards
  • Review construction contractor deliverables for functional and technical accuracy and completeness
  • Evaluate construction work to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and project requirements
  • Provide technical review of submitted documents and recommend acceptance or rejection
  • Support project development by assisting in design and project documentation activities
  • Assist in monitoring construction progress, timelines, and quality of work performed
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, and contractors on project requirements and issues
  • Document inspection results and maintain project files and records
  • Participate in technical meetings and provide input on construction-related matters
  • Ensure all construction activities align with engineering standards and safety requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
Education/Certification:
  • No specific formal education degree required

Experience:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction inspection
  • Experience must be related to Department of Defense (DoD) or commercial facilities, infrastructure, and utility systems
