Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT support and operations department, supporting a diverse range of infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to technology management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer

Location:Waltham, Massachusetts (Onsite/Hybrid)

What's the Job?

  • Provide operational support, administration, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer for a Microsoft-centric infrastructure environment.
  • Manage and support Active Directory infrastructure, including user provisioning, group policies, and access controls.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Windows Server environments.
  • Support server health, system performance, and handle operational incidents efficiently.
  • Collaborate with application owners and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure stability and performance.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of Infrastructure Operations experience with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong experience in Active Directory administration and Windows Server management (2016/2019/2022).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, and Group Policy management.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Windows networking fundamentals, and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with incident and problem management, PowerShell scripting, and infrastructure migrations.
