    Job description

    Nutanix & Windows Infrastructure Lead

    Marlborough MA - Hybrid allowed -Must be ready to be onsite 2-3 days a week in office

    *Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future*

    Seeking an experienced Nutanix & Windows Infrastructure Lead to manage and optimize enterprise Nutanix HCI, virtualization, and Windows server environments. The role requires strong expertise in Nutanix, Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, automation, and team leadership to ensure highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer Nutanix environments (Prism Central/Element, AHV, LCM, DR, replication, capacity management).
    • Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, IIS, and clustering.
    • Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
    • Troubleshoot compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and OS-related issues.
    • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
    • Lead L2/L3 infrastructure teams, drive RCA activities, and implement operational best practices.
    • Collaborate with application, network, security, and cloud teams on infrastructure initiatives.
    • Develop automation, monitoring solutions, and operational reporting.
    Required Skills
    • Nutanix Prism Central/Element, AHV, LCM, DR & Replication
    • Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS

    The Salary for this position will be yearly 100,000 to 115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
