Job description

Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to develop reliable networks for the Department of Defense. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand network requirements and overseeing the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.
Responsibilities:
• Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software.
• Collaborating with SMEs, customers, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements.
• Sharing expertise during the planning of the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components.
• Resolving interoperability issues across platforms.
• Supporting the acquisition of hardware.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering or security platform architecture
• Experience with stream processing or data brokering platforms such as Cribl, Kafka, Logstash or Fluentd
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and DoD cybersecurity frameworks
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
Preferred:
• Experience with Python or scripting languages for security automation
• Experience in operating IL5, IL6 or IL7 environments
• Security+, CISSP, CASP+ or CCSP Certifications
