Job Description
Systems Asset Management
- Project procurement and maintenance renewals
- Project licensing compliance
Systems Configuration Management
- Installation procedures for all systems that are part of the solution
- Installation automation where appropriate
- Controls to protect baseline while accommodating delivery
Systems Availability
- High availability controls to ensure compliance with requirements
- Operational procedures for systems installed as part of solution
- Operational automation where appropriate
As the Systems Infrastructure Lead, candidate would be responsible for any deliverables that fall under these areas including client deliverables and infrastructure solutions that support the development and eventual implementation of the new application. The responsibility includes: acquiring sufficient understanding of the solution being built to make accurate decisions, identifying work that needs to be done, tracking/reporting on that work, supporting solutions implemented, and directing iterative improvement such that the systems comply with technical requirements (formally defined or derived from functional requirements).
Note: The person who is chosen must be on site 5 days a week in Cranston, RI
Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED
Experience in the following areas is required:
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure implementations from development to production
- Strong client facing experience and interpersonal skills
- Experience with the following tools/products:
- Custom .NET distributed application development
- Visual Studio Team System / Team Foundation Server / Team Build
- Click-Once deployments
- SQL Server 2012+
- PowerShell scripting
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and networking
- General knowledge of backup/recovery solutions and monitoring solutions
