What does an infrastructure director do?
An Infrastructure Director oversees an organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and security systems. The Infrastructure Director also implements new technologies and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and enhance performance.

To thrive as an Infrastructure Director, you need extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, strategic planning, and project oversight, typically backed by a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
