Job description

Zeigler Bros. Inc. is an established manufacturer of high-end specialty feeds for the aquaculture, pet, and bio-medical research industries. We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to oversee our company’s technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and end-user support. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring our IT systems are secure, reliable, and effectively support our manufacturing and business operations.


The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, communicate effectively with employees at all levels, and provide both strategic direction and hands-on technical support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company networks, servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SharePoint, VPN, firewalls, and related systems.
  • Provide technical support to approximately 90 employees across multiple locations.
  • Support manufacturing and production technology systems.
  • Manage computers, mobile devices, phones, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain cybersecurity, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
  • Manage company websites and internal SharePoint sites.
  • Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
  • Manage IT vendors, purchasing, asset tracking, and the annual IT budget.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Provide after-hours/weekend support as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in a multi-location or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, cybersecurity, backups, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and business-critical applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manufacturing or feed/food industry experience preferred.
