Position Summary:

The IT Systems Administrator plays a key role in delivering a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment across corporate offices, warehouses, and remote locations. This position supports modern, cloud first infrastructure and end user technologies, ensuring seamless device performance, secure access, and operational continuity. The role partners closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to continuously improve endpoint management, identity services, cybersecurity posture, and IT operations through automation and best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Endpoint & End-User Support: 
    • Provide advanced Tier 2/3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, RFID systems, and warehouse/industrial IoT devices.
    • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues in office, warehouse, and remote environments.
    • Support collaboration and hybrid work technologies, including conferencing and mobility solutions.
  • Endpoint Management & OS Lifecycle: 
    • Deploy, configure, and manage Windows, macOS, and mobile devices using modern endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, and SOTI).
    • Manage OS patching, device compliance, application deployment, and lifecycle refresh activities.
    • Leverage automation and scripting to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
  • Cloud & Identity Services:
    • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
    • Manage identity and access through Azure AD / Entra ID, including MFA, Conditional Access, and role-based access controls.
    • Support onboarding/offboarding workflows and identity governance processes.
  • Network & Connectivity Support:
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi Fi, DNS, DHCP, and network-connected devices.
    • Partner with networking teams to troubleshoot, improve performance, and deploy sites.
  • Security & Compliance: 
    • Enforce endpoint security standards, device compliance policies, and cybersecurity best practices.
    • Support endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and incident response activities.
    • Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and security awareness initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence & Documentation: 
    • Maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs, knowledge base articles, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
    • Track incidents, changes, and configurations to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Documentation: 
    • Work cross functionally with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams.
    • Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives, pilot new technologies, and recommend improvements aligned with business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or endpoint engineering roles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong experience with Windows OS, macOS, and Microsoft 365 and Android.
    • Hands-on knowledge of Intune, Azure AD / Entra ID, and modern endpoint management practices.
    • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi Fi).
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
    • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus, but not required.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong communication and customer service mindset.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast paced environment.
    • Analytical, proactive, and improvement-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a fully on-site role (5 days per week) that may require occasional after-hours support and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
