IT Technician Sr Site Services Support
Huntsman is seeking an IT Technician Sr Site Services Support supporting the IT Division located in Conroe, Texas . This position will report to the IT Business Services Manager.

Job Scope
Provides technical services and support for business systems and applications.

In summary, as the IT Technician Sr Site Services Support, you will:

  • Provide technical services and support for business systems and applications.
  • Support site functions, roles, and initiatives, as assigned.
  • Assist in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications.
  • Be responsible for incident and request management using ITSM tools.
  • Duties/tasks are standardized. Resolve routine questions/problems and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Work under direct supervision and follow established procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Respect confidentiality at all times.
  • Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and the ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, the ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Assist other employees in accomplishing Huntsman company goals. Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and complete company-required training programs.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a technical field related to the position, or 5+ years of related work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related fields.

Skills and knowledge

  • Must have proficiency with Internet, email, and Microsoft programs.
  • Competent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing, complex technical environment.
  • Promotes and supports standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking, with high standards of process adherence and a proven record of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Huntsman's policy/compliance framework, business processes, reporting procedures, and existing and planned information systems and services.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances.

  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CCNA, Network+, MCSE, or other industry-standard certifications).
