Overview
Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Program Security Support Analyst to support the U.S. Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.
The Program Security Support Analyst will provide security operations support to protect classified information and ensure compliance with DoD, DAF, USSF, and Intelligence Community (IC) security requirements. The position will primarily support Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security activities, along with general security administration.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and security-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a classified, mission-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Security Support Analysis position will:
  • Provide day-to-day security support for STARCOM operations involving Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Support the protection, handling, storage, transmission, and accountability of classified and sensitive information in accordance with applicable security requirements
  • Assist with personnel security activities, including clearance verification, access requests, visit certifications, indoctrinations, debriefings, and maintaining security records
  • Support physical and information security activities, including access control, classified material accountability, security inspections, and safeguarding procedures
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of SCIF, SAPF, and other classified work areas, as applicable
  • Maintain accurate security documentation, databases, files, and tracking systems to support compliance and audit readiness
  • Assist with security education, training, and awareness activities, including preparation of security briefings and informational materials
  • Support the reporting, documentation, and tracking of security incidents, violations, and potential vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate with government security personnel, program offices, and mission partners to resolve routine security matters and support mission requirements
  • Ensure activities are performed in accordance with applicable DoD, DAF, USSF, IC, SCI, and SAP security policies and procedures

Requirements
Skills and Experience
The Program Security Support Analysis position must have:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • 5+ years of relevant DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal security experience, including experience supporting classified environments.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting SCI and/or SAP security activities is preferred.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, or STARCOM environments is preferred
  • Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, Intelligence Community, or other classified government environments
  • Working knowledge of Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) security requirements and procedures
  • Familiarity with personnel, physical, information, and program security disciplines
  • Experience processing and maintaining security clearances, access requests, visit certifications, security records, and classified documentation
  • Knowledge of applicable DoD, DAF, USSF, and IC security policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Experience supporting security operations within SCIFs, SAPFs, or other classified facilities is preferred

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
