Information Governance Project Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

As an Individual Contributor, this role supports the execution and ongoing enhancement of the bank's enterprise policy and information governance programs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and organizational standards. This role analyzes governance processes, maintains program standards, and provides advisory support to business units to promote consistent, compliant, and effective practices across the organization. It also contributes to continuous improvement efforts and supports audit and regulatory activities to strengthen the bank's overall governance and control environment.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information management, risk management, compliance, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in governance, policy management, information governance, records management, risk management, compliance, or a related function within a regulated industry.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

• Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in agility, analytical thinking, business acumen, communication, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, internal controls, project management, records management and technology literacy.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, evaluate governance processes, and identify control gaps to support effective risk mitigation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results. Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Governance Framework Administration & Risk Oversight: Maintains and administers enterprise governance frameworks, including Corporate Policies and Procedures, Records Management, Enterprise Content Management, and Enterprise Forms Management. Monitors adherence to governance standards, identifies control gaps and non-compliance, and escalates issues appropriately. Supports control validation activities and contributes to enhancements of governance methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Policy Lifecycle Management: Supports the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate policies and procedures, including development, review, approval, publication, and ongoing maintenance. Analyzes policy content to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and risk frameworks while identifying duplication, inconsistencies, and opportunities for simplification and standardization. Maintains and updates the enterprise policy repository.

• Enterprise Forms Governance: Administers governance processes related to enterprise forms, including review and approval of new and updated forms. Ensures appropriate controls are applied, including alignment with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. Identifies opportunities to streamline and standardize forms and improve related workflows and approval processes.

• Stakeholder Advisory & Compliance Monitoring: Partners with risk, compliance, legal, and business units to provide guidance on governance requirements and lifecycle processes. Evaluates business practices for adherence to governance standards, recommends improvements, and supports resolution of identified gaps. Monitors compliance trends and escalates issues to ensure appropriate risk mitigation.

• Governance Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Analyzes governance-related processes, audit findings, and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, consistency, and usability of governance frameworks. Supports audit and regulatory activities by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with remediation efforts.
