Job description

The Informatics amp; IT Support Associate serves as a direct support role to the Informatics and IT leadership team. This position assists in the coordination and execution of technology support, informatics workflows, and communication initiatives across the organization. The role ensures leadership is supported through accurate data, efficient systems, and consistent internal and external communication.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Support (Informatics amp; IT)
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Informatics and IT leadership team
  • Assist with preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and data summaries
  • Support departmental projects, implementations, and process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate communication between leadership, staff, vendors, and external partners
  • Track and follow up on tasks, projects, and action items to ensure timely completion
  • Assist in prioritizing and escalating system or technical issues impacting operations
IT amp; Technical Support
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and user access issues
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including system access and equipment setup
  • Support maintenance and tracking of IT equipment and inventory
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors for issue resolution and system support
  • Escalate complex technical issues appropriately
Informatics Support
  • Assist with daily support of EHR, billing, scheduling, and reporting systems
  • Support data accuracy, validation, and report generation for leadership and departments
  • Help identify workflow inefficiencies and communicate opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with system updates, testing, and implementation activities
  • Provide basic training and support to staff on system use and workflows
Social Media amp; Communications
  • Assist in managing and maintaining organizational social media platforms
  • Develop, schedule, and publish content aligned with leadership direction and organizational goals
  • Promote services, events, projects, and community engagement initiatives
  • Monitor engagement and respond or escalate messages as appropriate
  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and professionalism
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in administrative support, IT, informatics, or social media management preferred
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and healthcare workflows is a plus
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
