Role Overview:
This role is for an ETL Tester focused on validating ETL workflows, data transformations, and end-to-end data movement across various source and target systems. The position requires strong SQL and Python skills, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and Informatica tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and end-to-end data movement across source and target systems.
  • Perform data analysis, data reconciliation, query optimization, and database validation using strong SQL skills.
  • Develop Python-based test automation, data comparison frameworks, and validation scripts.
  • Analyze requirements, create comprehensive test cases, and investigate data issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified data discrepancies and collaborate effectively with development and business teams.

Required Skills:
  • Experience in validating ETL workflows, data transformations, and end-to-end data movement.
  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data analysis, data reconciliation, query optimization, and database validation.
  • Good understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL tools/processes.
  • Experience in Python-based test automation, data comparison frameworks, and validation script development.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, create test cases, investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development and business teams.
