Job description

TEKsystems has a 12-14 month contract role (this can sit remote in anywhere in the US but will require up to 1 week a month travel into Colorado). This role is for a Data Architect with Infor CloudSuite data migration expertise.

Our client is beginning a business-led transformation program that’s strategically aimed at transforming their ways of working and improving end-to-end processes enabled by technology. It’s a multi-phased program that consists of migrating from a legacy ERP (IFS) to Infor CloudSuite (Industrial / SyteLine).

As part of this they are hiring a Data Architect for 12 - 14 months. This consultant must have significant experience architecting and building global solutions in Master Data, especially Material and Customer data. Experience with Infor (preferably CloudSuite) and the Infor Data Mesh tool is needed.

The consultant must be able to create a global data governance program, and will be responsible for data strategy, building migration plans, future cutover plans, the timing of data loads, and have oversight over the data cleansing activities.

Data sources are: IFS, Salesforce, and SAP Business One. The data architect must be technically sound but also strategic.

The Role

The Data Architect is responsible for leading the master data management initiative as part of the Program, focusing mainly on ERP migration and CRM integration. Reporting directly to the Transformation Director, this position develops and implements the data migration plan, handling everything from mapping and cleansing to ETL processes, testing, and cutover activities. Working closely with stakeholders, the architect aims to enhance our client's data environment while ensuring all solutions are compatible with ERP & CRM system requirements.
