Job Summary:

The ERP Technical Consultant supports and optimizes client ERP environments, primarily focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and providing technical expertise across Infor LN platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day technical support for Dynamics 365 Business Central and Infor LN environments.
• Ensure ERP system stability, performance, and availability.
• Execute Incident, Request, Problem, and Change activities aligned to ITIL-based service delivery.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement durable corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain Business Central extensions using AL.
• Deliver enhancements through a governed AMS backlog model.
• Support LN Tools development and customization when required.
• Troubleshoot integrations using APIs, middleware, Azure services, and external systems.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational knowledge artifacts.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual support effort.
• Support transition-to-run activities and ensure operational readiness of new capabilities.
• Collaborate with Client Success Managers, Functional Teams, and Client IT stakeholders.
• SLA adherence for incidents and requests
• Reduction of repeat incidents through problem management
• Predictable backlog throughput
• System stability and minimized unplanned outages
• Automation contributions reducing operational toil
• Quality of documentation and operational knowledge transfer
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–7 years supporting ERP platforms in production environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Hands-on experience developing Business Central extensions using AL
• Experience troubleshooting integrations using APIs or middleware
• Strong root cause analysis capability
• Experience working within ticketing and backlog-driven workflows
• Experience supporting Infor LN environments
• Experience with LN Tools development (4GL, DAL, reporting, extensions)
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Experience with Azure integration services
• Familiarity with ITIL-based Managed Services delivery
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or combination of education and experience with the relevant LN experience.
• At least 3-7 years of related experience supporting or developing within Dynamics 365 and/or Infor LN.
Preferred:
• Candidates located in Michigan or Minnesota are preferred.
