Marketing Summer Intern

 Are you creative, hardworking, and looking to gain hands-on experience working on a variety of projects? We appreciate these qualities at Cinch Home Services and seek a marketing intern who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and research industry trends. Interns work collaboratively in teams to conduct research that improves our brand, communications, and strategy.

Marketing Intern, or Corporate Marketing Intern, assists the marketing department in their advertising and promotional efforts. Their main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies and propose adjustments to current strategies accordingly.
  • Create graphic representations of data and translate complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments.
  • Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing.
  • Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports.
  • Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Collect performance metrics to measure progress.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 18+ years or older
  • Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, preferred course of study to include Sales, Marketing, or Advertising
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of social media
  • Driven and hard-working
  • Ability to take direction and multi-task.
  • Canva, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel experience a plus
