About the Role
Weber Shandwick is looking for a Manager to join our Social and Influencer Strategy team in Boston. We are looking for a star candidate (3-5 years of experience) with a deep understanding of the influencer landscape and proven expertise in developing and executing both integrated and influencer-led campaigns.
Candidate must have a deep understanding of the influencer landscape but also have unique experience developing and executing both earned-led brand and influencer-led campaigns.
The Essentials

Storytelling: Understand the elements that make a story exciting, what influencers and brands are doing in the press and on social platforms, and what they should do next
Detail-Oriented: Whether it's a partner proposal or a recap report, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work is essential
Communication: Speak, write and edit succinctly and compellingly
Management: Meet deadlines, put out fires and multi-task - work fast and work well
Interpersonal: Play nice, whether it's in a team or independently
Technical: Influencer management systems and social tracking tools a plus
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Execution
Execute daily responsibilities for multiple programs spanning consumer brand and technology clients, including managing budgets and plans
Serve as a trusted resource and advisor during daily client interactions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, integrated media, influencer) to ensure alignment on deliverables
Translate tactical assignments into clear action steps and track progress against strategy
Draft messaging and contribute ideas and research to support influencer strategy development
Anticipate executional issues and proactively offer solutions to senior leadership
Partner with project management counterparts to manage budgets, hours, expenses, and staffing allocations
Influencer Strategy & Execution
Demonstrated passion for influencer marketing both personally and professionally
Craft influencer strategies for yearlong plans and moment-driven launches
Research, vet, contract and manage end-to-end talent relations, including complex contract negotiations, usage rights, and multi-channel deliverables.
Oversee influencer briefings and content creation, monitor influencer content performance, track against KPIs and prepare detailed recaps
Manage and build relationships with influencers and third-party agents
Demonstrate expertise in social influencer tools and platforms, user behaviors and emerging trends
Monitor platform-specific sentiment shifts in real-time, utilizing social listening tools to identify and mitigate reputational risks before they gain broader media traction.
Client & Team Engagement
Manage daily client communications and escalate issues as needed
Provide regular updates and reporting, seeking senior guidance on strategic matters
Participate in client meetings and presentations to deliver defined workstreams
Draft, proof, and edit client-related documents ensuring accuracy before senior review
Coordinate support team resources and deliverables for major campaigns and product launches
Salary Range: $70,000 USD - $80,000 USD
