What you will be doing as an Avionics Technician - Go Team:

In this role, you can expect to test, troubleshoot, and repair advanced avionics systems directly on aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center.          Final System Testing & Certification: Perform final avionics and electrical system testing, ensure FCC compliance for all transmitting and receiving equipment, and sign aircraft logbook releases under an FAA Repairman Certificate

InFlight Diagnostics & Validation: Diagnose discrepancies using inflight data and customer feedback, take corrective action, and accompany pilots on functional test flights as required to verify system performance

Technical Leadership & Crew Guidance: Act as crew lead for teams of up to five technicians, guiding troubleshooting efforts and mentoring lowerlevel technicians through complex avionics issues

Customer Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Partner directly with customers to explain avionics discrepancies, provide clear technical debriefs, and resolve concerns with professionalism and sound judgment

Aircraft Documentation & Blueprint Interpretation: Execute work from aircraft orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and vendor data to ensure precise, compliant installations and repairs

What you need to be successful:

A high school education or equivalent is required

A comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is required

Use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications along with knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles is required
