Job description

Salary: $52,000.-$54,000.

IT Specialist I

About the Role

Infinity Communications is seeking an IT Specialist I to provide frontline technical support for our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone with 12 years of IT experience who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and helping employees succeed.

You will serve as the first point of contact for IT support, assisting with hardware, software, user accounts, basic networking, and device deployments while helping maintain a secure and efficient technology environment.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time, in-office position
  • Standard hours: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM (to help support West Coast staff)
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical issues

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, teams, and in person
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile device, printer, and network issues
  • Configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and other equipment
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions
  • Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, and endpoint support
  • Assist with basic networking, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Follow cybersecurity best practices and report suspicious activity
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed

Qualifications

  • 12 years of help desk, desktop support, or related IT experience
  • Experience with Windows operating systems (MAC/MDM experience a plus)
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Understanding of Backups, IP, DNS, and DHCP concepts
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and learn new technologies quickly

Preferred

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ticketing systems, or remote support tools
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and endpoint protection

Salary: $52,000 $54,000 annually, based on experience
