EIG Insurance Center is looking for an Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Waldorf, Maryland. Responsibilities
  • Speak with prospects and clients to understand their insurance needs
  • Recommend coverage options that fit each customer’s situation
  • Prepare quotes, explain policy details, and help close sales
  • Follow up on leads in a timely and organized way
  • Maintain accurate records of client conversations, policies, and updates
  • Support customers with questions, policy changes, and renewals
  • Build long-term relationships through respectful, dependable service
  • Work closely with the agency team to support sales goals and client satisfaction
  • Stay informed on available products, coverage changes, and licensing requirements
Requirements
  • Active state insurance license or ability to obtain one
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or insurance
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to build trust and maintain lasting client relationships
  • Comfort working with lead follow-up, quoting, and closing sales
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM or agency systems
  • Knowledge of property, casualty, life, or health insurance products preferred
  • Prior experience in a local agency environment preferred
  • Goal-oriented approach with steady attention to detail
  • Ability to work Friday and Saturdays
