Job description

Brian DeWitt's Farmers Insurance agency, based in Greenwood Village, CO, is looking for an Insurance Sales Agent ready to build a serious career in P&C, life, and health insurance.

This is a full-time, in-office sales role. You'll join an established agency as a full-time employee with a base salary and uncapped commission potential, working a consistent MondayFriday schedule prospecting new clients, building lasting relationships, and growing your book of business inside a team that knows how to win.

Compensation:

  • Variable Compensation: Uncapped commission plan, 50% of all new business commissions

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through outbound calls, referrals, and leads
  • Conduct needs-based consultations to recommend auto, home, life, and health coverage
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships through consistent follow-up and account management
  • Meet monthly production goals across personal lines and life insurance
  • Collaborate with agency staff to ensure a smooth client experience from quote to bind

Requirements

Required:

  • Active Colorado P&C license or willingness to obtain one before your start date
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable managing a pipeline, following up consistently, and closing new business

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field
  • Associate's, bachelor's, or advanced degree
  • Familiarity with CRM or agency management software
