Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Take ownership of the Infineon Customer interface with an emphasis on managing the account as well as developing key relationships
  • Drive all aspects of automotive business at targeted accounts with a special emphasis on Power Semiconductors, Microcontrollers, and Sense and Control applications
  • Work with cross functional teams within Infineon to ensure success with the customer.
  • Manage and drive contract negotiations, support system cost reduction initiatives and manage the overall quoting process
  • Work with global sales teams, internal sales, marketing and application engineering to develop and execute account strategies and develop new business opportunities
  • Understand customer systems and requirements to propose Infineon system solutions and value proposition to meet their needs
  • Establish and develop key relationships at all levels between Infineon and customers including but not limited to Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Management, Quality, and Operations
  • Develop relationships within Infineon product groups, service organizations and headquarters. Stay current on Infineon's product offering
  • Be responsible for demand fulfillment include, but not limited to, the coordination of customer and field quality support, PCN's, logistics topics, forecasts and managing accounting issues and part shortages
  • Understand industry trends, requirements, regulations and competitive landscape
  • Capturing and maintaining opportunities, customer interaction reports (CIR) in CRM portal
  • Mentor junior account managers and lead annual and strategic negotiation

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • BSEE or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience in semiconductor, sales account management, business development or customer facing engineering role
  • Proven track record of growing and managing semiconductor Tier 1 or OEM account
  • Understand automotive and robotics electrical and electronics systems
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and acting
  • Domestic and International travel required

San Jose, CA Minimum of $185,900 base salary per year / Maximum of $255,600 base salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
