Job description

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Physician

Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) is seeking a full-time, academic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) physician to serve as Director of the Center for Fertility and lead the program's next chapter. Following a brief clinical pause after the departure of our prior REI physician in July 2025, the Center is poised for a fresh start—with remodeled spaces, updated equipment, and optimized and audited tissue storage systems already in place. This is a rare opportunity for an REI leader to relaunch and shape a well-established program (30+ years) with meaningful autonomy and strong institutional support. The Director will build and grow a comprehensive REI clinical practice in close partnership with an experienced team that includes embryology, andrology, lab assistants, nurses, and dedicated administrative staff. Working collaboratively with the embryologist, department chair, and administrator, the Director will help develop streamlined, high-reliability operations while setting the vision for patient-centered, high-quality fertility care. This role includes a teaching faculty appointment in the LLU School of Medicine, with opportunities to mentor residents and develop REI research, leveraging a robust academic department that includes 37 residents and 3 fellows and a multidisciplinary group of OB/GYN generalists, GYN/ONC, MFM, and URO/GYN physicians. LLUH is a faith-based academic medical center committed to whole-person care, medical innovation, and education for over 100 years.

Compensation range for starting base compensation only, which is adjusted in accordance with years of experience and/or faculty rank, is expected to be $500,000 - $550,000. Variable compensation above base is paid semi-annually for additional productivity above benchmark. More information on compensation is discussed with the department during the recruitment process. Our benefits include: Generous Retirement Contribution, Comprehensive Medical/Dental Coverage, Competitive Vacation & Sick Days, CME Days and Funds, Relocation Assistance (if applicable), Paid Malpractice Insurance, Paid Life Insurance, Federal Loan Repayment (If eligible).

Loma Linda University is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire.

This opportunity is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver.
