Job description

Organizational Development Consultant

We are looking for a passionate, highly organized, and experienced Organizational Development Consultant to provide a range of expert consultation services and custom solutions in the areas of strategic workforce planning and talent management, talent development, change management, culture building and employee engagement.

This position will be responsible for the design, support, and management of ACE's enterprise talent management processes including Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Performance Management, and will assist with organizational problem solving through change management initiatives, organizational design and employee engagement.

This position may also be assigned to lead emerging leaders' programs and other cohort style talent development initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • This position requires frequent travel for up to two weeks at a time.
  • You will design, develop, and produce a wide range of program materials, including presentations, orientations, training, volunteer manuals, and outreach resources, while managing ongoing program evaluation processes and recommending continuous improvements. Develop and implement a variety of organizational development (OD) solutions-such as programs, playbooks, approaches, interventions, prevention strategies, and role mandates/decision-right frameworks-aligned with HR and business objectives to address critical gaps. Establish methods to measure the effectiveness of OD initiatives, collect and analyze data, track progress, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to drive program success and organizational impact.
  • You will support talent development for all areas of the organization in partnership with ET&D and Business leaders in order to build a successful talent pipeline for ACE leadership positions.
  • You will manage program emerging leaders' programs and other cohort style talent development initiatives across the organization, as assigned.
  • You will work closely with ET&D and HR colleagues to build technology solutions that streamline employee and manager tasks in the area of performance management, career development, and other key development activities.
  • You have advanced level facilitation skills, is a Subject Matter Expert for leading, mentoring, and upskilling of delivery staff including HR professionals, cross functional core leaders and others to help deploy new solutions.
  • You will use available research, reporting and analytics tools to drive strategic conversations with business leadership as well as identify opportunities to improve existing or develop new programs and solutions; Identify meaningful insights/uncover critical opportunities to experiment, innovate, and implement high-impact OD solutions that can be scaled to the enterprise
  • You will apply project management skills to facilitate complex work and maintain stakeholder alignment; Develop project schedules, plans and timeline
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • You have either a B.A. in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or equivalent combination of work experience and education is required.
  • Your related experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development or strong experience with exposure to organizational talent development.
  • You have excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception through completion while effectively engaging and aligning stakeholders, combined with strong knowledge of core organizational development functions, including workforce planning, talent management, culture building, and employee engagement, as well as advanced analytical, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while working independently as a self-starter and collaborating effectively as part of a broader team. You demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, flexibility, discretion, and strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment, operating independently and applying a high degree of innovation, creativity, and resourcefulness to develop effective solutions. As a proactive "doer," you readily step in as a practitioner when needed, driving outcomes through solution development, influence, readiness-building, and high-level consulting.
  • You have the ability to establish clear goals, lead with accountability, manage through ambiguity, and drive results.
  • You're able to work as a trusted advisor within the talent space to support the implementation of key talent and learning programs.
  • You have the ability to work with C- suite executives focused on executive development, succession, talent and learning solutions.
  • You have experience of effectively leading and collaborating with broad stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • You're comfortable with public speaking and giving executive presentations.
  • You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

The starting pay range for this position is:

$92,600.00 - $123,600.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
