Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who loves improving processes, analyzing data, and making things run better? Fair-Rite Products Corp. is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support our manufacturing operations through process improvement, production analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you'll work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimize work-flows, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and help bring new manufacturing solutions to life.

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Analyze production data and manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and line-balancing projects
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing data, routings, labor standards, and process documentation
  • Prepare cost estimate worksheets and support custom quotations
  • Process Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and related manufacturing documentation
  • Support manufacturing layouts, workstation design, and ergonomic improvements
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance
  • Collaborate across departments to solve manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions
Qualifications What We're Looking For
  • Associate degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, plus at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering field with relevant manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, time studies, and process improvement techniques
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
