Job description

We are seeking a Licensed or license eligible ย Individual/Group Therapist to join our team! You must have a Master's Degree in Counseling or related field and clinical experience is recommended. You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings, in a private day Special Education school. As well as respond to students in crisis, providing interventions, Threat Assessements, and focusing on the individual goals of each student. Experience with parent communications and the linking of services is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
  • Offer assistance to individuals with multiple issues
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • LPC or LCSW
  • Threat Assessment experience
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong leadership qualities
