Position Overview

The Wellness Care Psychological Center is actively seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dedicated team in a fulfilling full-time remote position. As a vital member of our mental health care team, your work will focus on providing high-quality therapeutic interventions and support to individuals coping with various mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and holistic mental health assessments to identify patients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, using standardized assessment tools.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to fit the specific issues presented by diverse clients.
  • Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to provide valuable information and community reinforcement for individuals facing common mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic patient care and coordinated treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention during emergency situations, ensuring immediate support for patients in distress.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, possible treatment options, and relevant community resources that can aid in their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and share knowledge of latest advancements in mental health therapies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues. Your therapeutic practice will emphasize culturally competent care and respect for the individual experiences of each client, fostering an environment of trust and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, with a track record of success in working with diverse populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with sound judgment and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the ability to navigate various computer applications effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to work within a multidisciplinary framework to enhance patient care strategies.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting as a licensed mental health professional.
  • Previous experience in administering group therapy sessions and facilitating psychoeducational workshops.
