Evening CNA - Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab

Job Summary:

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening CNA to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and exceeding our residents' expectations. About the Role:

As an Evening CNA at Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and reporting any changes in their condition to our nursing staff. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to our residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with administering medications, as directed by our licensed nursing staff
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs, skin integrity, and emotional well-being
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our residents, families, and staff members
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, as required by regulatory standards and company policies

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience in the medical field; however, prior experience as a CNA is preferred
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with the assistance of equipment and/or other staff members (up to 50 pounds)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
