Job description

Independent Sales Representative (Yearbooks)
Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Territory:CA

Compensation & Benefits
• 12% commissions on yearbook sales (independent contractor model).
• 2–3 year transition bonus plan available for reps bringing an existing book of
business.
• Opportunity to sell into additional support services beyond yearbooks.
• Full autonomy as an independent rep (covering your own expenses, building
your own schedule).

About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced independent sales representatives to drive growth in the yearbook market. This is a 1099 contractor role designed for entrepreneurial salespeople who already have strong relationships in the K–12 and higher education space.

If you are currently a yearbook or school services representative and dissatisfied with your current provider, this is an opportunity to bring your book of business to a trusted brand with a long history of serving schools and students.

What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, administrators, and yearbook advisors in your territory.
• Sell yearbook programs and support services through onsite and virtual visits.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of schools (existing relationships and new business).
• Provide service and support throughout the yearbook creation and delivery process.
• Navigate school purchasing cycles and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership on transition planning if you are bringing an existing
book of business.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
• Proven yearbook or school sales experience — ideally with an existing book of
business.
• Strong, established relationships with K–12 schools and/or universities in your
territory.
• A valid, reviewable contract with your current provider (required before
discussions).
• Stable work history and consistent revenue performance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage your own business.
• Familiarity with state-specific non-compete laws (we will review and navigate as
needed).

Benefits
Why Join

This is an opportunity to align with a company that has established credibility in the school
services space, with recent strong delivery seasons and a commitment to growth. Reps will be supported with resources, incentives, and a partnership approach that values long-term
success.
