Position: Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Note: Looking for Permanent / Visa Independent Consultants

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, configuration, support, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical resources to deliver Oracle Cloud Financial solutions that support organizational financial operations and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Consulting & Implementation
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops and business process analysis sessions.
  • Configure and implement Oracle Cloud Financials modules based on business requirements.
  • Design and document future-state business processes and solution designs.
  • Provide functional expertise throughout all phases of Oracle Cloud implementation projects.
  • Support end-to-end solution testing, including SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
  • Assist in data conversion, migration, and reconciliation activities.

Oracle Cloud Financials Expertise:

Configure and support the following Oracle Cloud Financials modules:

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Expense Management
  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Tax Management
  • Financial Reporting Center (FRC)

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT teams.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Provide post-production support and issue resolution.

Integration & Reporting

  • Work with technical teams on integrations involving Oracle ERP Cloud and third-party applications.
  • Validate inbound and outbound financial data interfaces.
  • Support development of OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and Financial Reporting reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 12+ years of Oracle Financials experience with at least 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Hands-on experience implementing multiple Oracle Cloud Financial modules.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
  • Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting testing, data migration, and cutover activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud Financials Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud quarterly updates and release management.
  • Experience with Oracle Procurement Cloud and Project Financial Management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
