Take Your Utility Experience to the Next Level
Are you an experienced Lineman, Foreman, or Utility Professional looking to transition out of climbing poles and heavy field work while still utilizing your knowledge of electric distribution systems? This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your years of experience in a role that combines field inspections, technology, and quality assurance.
We're seeking a Power Distribution Field Inspector to support electric utility projects throughout Central Florida. This position is ideal for someone with 10+ years of power distribution experience who understands utility construction standards and enjoys working independently while using modern technology.
What You'll Do
  • Perform field inspections of overhead and underground electric distribution construction.
  • Verify completed work complies with utility standards, engineering drawings, and safety requirements.
  • Document findings using laptops, tablets, and inspection software.
  • Take detailed photographs and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Identify construction deficiencies and communicate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, utility personnel, engineers, and project managers.
  • Review field conditions and compare completed work against construction plans.
  • Track project progress and submit inspection reports in a timely manner.
  • Travel throughout assigned service territories as needed.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of electric utility distribution experience required.
  • Previous experience as a Journeyman Lineman, Foreman, Troubleman, Distribution Technician, or similar role strongly preferred.
