Job description

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team for a long-term freelance collaboration. In this role, you will manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability, robust security compliance, and seamless operational continuity.

Role Details
  • Position: Systems & Infrastructure Engineer (Freelance / Contract)
  • Time Commitment: ~100 hours per month (Flexible schedule / Part-time)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in similar roles
  • Compensation: $40 - $55 USD / hour (Depending on experience)
  • Location: Internationale Parkway, Woodridge, IL
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • Virtualization: Solid experience managing and configuring virtualized environments.
  • Windows Ecosystem: Strong expertise in Windows Operating Systems for both workstations and servers.
  • ITSM Tools: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (specifically handling incident, change, and request management).
  • Directory & Patch Management: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft WSUS.
