Job description

SecurEvent Solutions is hiring Event Safety Team Members to support operations at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all attendees. Contractors will play a key role in managing event safety by overseeing crowd movement, controlling access points, conducting screening procedures, responding to emergencies, enforcing conduct regulations, and documenting safety-related incidents. This position requires individuals who are observant, proactive, and capable of handling situations professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor event grounds to identify and address potential safety concerns
  • Manage access control and regulate entry to designated areas
  • Conduct screening of attendees and staff to maintain event integrity
  • Provide immediate support and guidance in emergency situations
  • Enforce event rules to ensure a secure and orderly environment
  • Document safety incidents and report relevant details as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience in event management, crowd control, or emergency response preferred
  • Strong ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for event dates (October 3rd-Oct 11th)
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (AM shift 3:30am- approximately 10:00am and PM shift 3:00pm until approximately 10:00pm)
  • Most shifts require standing for long periods of time

  • This is a temporary, contract-based position
