Business Development Representative
We have an opportunity for a Business Development Representative, located in Raleigh, North Carolina to join our AMS Business Development team, reporting to the Manager of Business Development Representatives - East. In this pivotal role, you will develop quality lead pipelines of net new and existing business opportunities through a hybrid of inbound and outbound prospecting and qualified meetings. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing and wider business units, you will develop your knowledge of Infoblox's network and security solutions and join an organization on the peak of rapid growth. Be a Contributor - What you'll do:
  • Initiate contact with potential leads using targeted outreach strategies and leverage BANT criteria to evaluate prospect suitability
  • Engage in proactive outreach activities to build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, aiming to surpass daily activity and opportunity conversion targets
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Infoblox technology to effectively communicate value propositions and act as a knowledgeable point of contact for prospects and channel
  • Record and manage prospect interactions and progress within Salesforce, ensuring all data is current and actionable
  • Set up appointments with potential clients that align with both the prospect's interest and the Sales team's capacity
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to tailor outreach efforts, align on target markets, and coordinate on the strategic approach to new business acquisition
  • Prepare detailed briefs encompassing budget considerations, key decision-makers, and project scope to ensure a smooth transition of opportunities to the Sales team
  • Oversee and sustain outbound efforts across multiple states within the designated region, adapting tactics to strategic business and regional considerations
  • Conduct consistent follow-ups and debriefs with territory managers and Sales executives to refine tactics and maintain alignment post-client interactions
  • Use AI daily to improve prospecting efficiency, personalize outreach, and focus on the highest-priority accounts

Be Prepared - What You Bring:
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales role; software sales experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success independently turning sales and marketing strategies into qualified leads
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6sense to drive real business outcomes
  • Ability to work fluently with AI to create and refine prompts, as well as to analyze and evaluate results
  • Motivation and a detail-orientated approach to your work to ensure every follow-up is consistently executed at the highest standard
  • Passion for sales and building relationships that put the customer or prospect first
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Political Science, International Relations) is required
