Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to support our Injection Molding operations in Honeoye, NY. This position is responsible for machine setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout production. The ideal candidate will have experience with injection molding processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and start injection molding machines according to established process parameters.
  • Monitor and maintain machine performance to ensure efficient production and quality output.
  • Troubleshoot processing, tooling, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adjust machine settings and process parameters to optimize production performance.
  • Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve product quality concerns.
  • Assist with mold changes, tooling setup, and minor tooling repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests for production equipment and tooling.
  • Support and provide guidance to machine operators, material handlers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Follow daily production schedules to meet customer requirements and shipping deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding manufacturing environment required.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to identify and resolve production and quality issues.
  • Experience with mold changes, tooling adjustments, and process optimization preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around production equipment.
