Contract Type: W2
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Rochester, NY - 14625 ( Onsite)
Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Molding Setup Technician with extrusion blow molding experience to set up, operate, and maintain molding equipment while ensuring safe, efficient production of high-quality plastic components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and start extrusion blow molding machines.
  • Install and remove molds and adjust machine settings.
  • Troubleshoot molding and process issues.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and monitor product quality.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain production documentation and follow safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Experience with extrusion blow molding machine setup.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials and molding processes.
  • Ability to install molds and optimize machine performance.
  • High school diploma/GED; technical training preferred.

Industry Experience:
  • Plastics Manufacturing
  • Blow Molding/Injection Molding
  • Industrial or Manufacturing Environment

Preferred: 2+ years of molding setup experience, with exposure to robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or automation systems.
