Job description

Job Title: Personal Trainer - Independent Contractor
Reports to: Fitness Director
Job Description:
  • The Union League of Philadelphia is looking for a personal trainer for approximately 15 hours per week.
  • Trainers are responsible for supporting members in their Fitness journey by creating a positive member experience and a safe environment for members to exercise.
  • Trainers will take new clients through a movement screen and introductory workout to properly design a program to meet their specific goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops safe and effective programs that help members achieve their goals
  • Monitors and instructs clients during training sessions
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the training floor - sanitize and put away all equipment after use
  • Mindful of other members and/or trainers using the floor simultaneously
  • Maintains communication with clients to schedule sessions and renew training packages
  • Adds and completes appointments on MindBody schedule

Position Requirements:
  • Certified Personal Trainer with at least 3 years of training experience
  • Trainer insurance
  • CPR and AED Certified
  • Experience with wide age range of clients
  • Friendly, personable, patient, great communicator
  • Not required but helpful if applicant is a Senior Fitness Specialist
