Matrix Providers is seeking qualified Optometrist to join our provider network as an Independent Contractor for disability exams medicine disability exams.

Work Setting:

  • Own office required
  • Per diem opportunities are available

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
  • An active and unrestricted license
  • Updated resume with minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Medical License (Required)

Compensation:

  • $80–$85.50 per hour

As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.
